Will to power is a force within us that drives us towards Transcendence is the act of continuously becoming a better self. It is the desire to triumph ourselves, the nature around us, and be something greater than just an animal that has basic needs.

Explanation

It is to avoid our Objectivity is loss of agency to external control and instrumental treatment and pursue a higher goal Maslow's hierarchy orders needs from basic to self-actualization

It also means to be "life embracing", to have a proactive attitude towards life, to feel Ownership means taking active responsibility and control of your environment over the events of our lives, or at least our behavior. This means to approach life with both Accepting what we cannot control is the path to peace and Agency is the ability to connect desires and actions at the same time, to Love your fate as if you chose it, and to reject feelings of Helplessness is perceiving no control over circumstances and outcomes

Why it matters

To follow your will to power means to embrace Challenges, to have a Capabilities are malleable through effort and learning and seek improvement through difficulties in life. To overcome yourself, rather than giving yourself up to Herd Mentality
