People First means that the most important resource at our disposal as a company is our people, our human capital.

Explanation

Why it matters

To acknowledge that by having an organizational Capabilities are malleable through effort and learning, we can improve our employees capabilities, and by extension our company. This also means that by taking care of our employees wellbeing, such as through Finding meaning in work increases fulfillment and resilience, Psychological safety enables risk-taking and vulnerability without fear of retribution, and giving a sense of Ownership means taking active responsibility and control of your environment, we increase the chances of creating an environment of Intrinsic motivation drives action through internal alignment and passion where they will be much more productive at their job.
