Team Management

Notes

Effective team management is not primarily about processes or tools — it is about creating the conditions under which people can do their best work together.

The Conditions for High Performance

Psychological Safety and Team Conditions identifies the structural prerequisites for team effectiveness: psychological safety (the belief that speaking up won't bring retribution), horizontal trust and peer feedback that circulates learning across the team, anonymity in ideation to prevent status dynamics from narrowing the idea pool, and the foundational commitment to treating people as the primary resource. Without these conditions, talent remains latent.
