Creativity
Notes
Creativity is the capacity to produce something that didn't exist before — whether an idea, a connection, or an object. This Map covers both what enables creative output and how new ideas are actually generated.
Conditions for Creative Thinking examines the prerequisites for creativity: the neurological states, cognitive postures, temporal patience, and design choices (including what to remove rather than add) that create the space for creative work to emerge.
Creative Ideation and Innovation covers the modes of creative production themselves — remixing existing ideas, generative ideation, genuine novelty, and the role of imitation as internalization. Nothing comes from nothing; creativity is always shaped by what came before it.
